After conquering comedy scene in India with Comedy Circus, Comedy Nights With Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show, Kapil Sharma also made his debut as a lead hero with a bang with Abbas-Mustan’s Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. The film not only opened well but also went on to become a big hit at the box office. After that it was expected that Kapil will be lapped up by the filmmakers and he’ll soon be seen in his second film but that didn’t happen. After Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, he had to wait for more than two years for his next and that too his home production, Firangi. But as they say better late than never!

On September 28, 2017, the makers finally released the first look teaser poster of the film with the release date as November 10, 2017. With that the film was all set for a three-way clash with Irrfan’s Qarib Qarib Singlle and Rajkummar Rao’s Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana. But now with the release of its motion poster, the makers have made it clear that the film will now release on November 24, 2017.

The motion poster is similar to the teaser poster, however, this time we get to see the first look of Kapil Sharma in the film. He is seen in a pre-independence police uniform kicking a ‘firangi’ official’s butt.

Check out the motion poster of Firangi below:

Based against the backdrop of a pre-independent India, Firangi is reportedly a story of a small-town boy played by Kapil who falls for an NRI girl, Monica Gill. Ishita Dutta, younger sister of Tanushree Dutta, also plays a significant part in the film. Directed by Rajiev Dhingra.
